| Procedure Overview As with all cosmetic surgery, good health and realistic expectations are prerequisites. In order to reduce the complications associated with General Anesthesia, Dr. Ramirez chooses Twilight Anesthesia for most patients. Medication is given to the patient to make him/her feel very relaxed, however they do not experience discomfort because supplemental Novocain is used.
